Public status page

A page your customers can check and subscribe to: components, incidents, maintenance, 90-day history — and alert rules that post for you.

When something breaks, your customers want one place to look — and to be told when it's fixed without writing to support. Every project can switch on a public status page at error.page/status/{your-slug}, in your branded page's colours, with your components, posted incidents, scheduled maintenance, a 90-day history, and (on Pro and above) email subscriptions.

Set it up under Settings → Status page. Once it's live, your branded error page links to it, so a visitor who hits an outage can see what's happening and subscribe.

What the page shows

  • Overall state — All systems operational, Degraded performance, Partial outage, Major outage, or Scheduled maintenance in progress. It follows what you post: the worst open incident's impact wins.
  • Automatically detected — with nothing posted by hand, if our monitoring sees open high or critical incidents on your site in the last day, the page shows Degraded performance (or Partial outage for critical) with a note that it was detected automatically. Switch this off in settings if you'd rather the page only ever says what you've written.
  • Components — the parts of your product you name (Website, Checkout, API…). Each has its own status. Posting an incident against components marks them degraded or out; resolving it marks them operational again.
  • Active incidents and scheduled maintenance, each with its timeline of updates.
  • Past 90 days — a bar per day coloured by the worst posted incident that day, and an uptime percentage computed from major and critical incidents.
  • Past incidents — the last 30 days.

Posting

An incident has a title, an impact (minor, major, critical), a status (Investigating → Identified → Monitoring → Resolved), the components it affects and a message. Add updates as you learn more; Resolved closes it. Maintenance has a window instead of an impact and goes Scheduled → In progress → Completed.

Alert rules can post for you

An alert rule with Post to status page opens an Elevated error rate incident the moment it fires — "We're seeing more errors than usual and are investigating" — and resolves it when the rule recovers. You can add your own updates in between. That means your customers hear from you within a minute of a spike, before the first support ticket.

Subscribers

On Pro and above, the page offers Get updates by email. Addresses are confirmed first (double opt-in) and every email carries an unsubscribe link. Confirmed subscribers are emailed when an incident is posted, updated or resolved, and when maintenance is scheduled, starts and completes. Sends go through the platform mailer and are capped per project per day as a safety net.

On your own domain

If the project has a verified custom domain, the status page is also served at https://your-domain/status.
